-1 small bunch asparagus spears
-2 tbsp virgin coconut oil
-1 clove garlic chopped
-Lemon wedge for Garnish
-Salt to taste
Preheat griddle pan for high heat. Prepare the asparagus by breaking off the tough bottom ends (you can save this for stock, soup or compose)
Place the asparagus in a bowl & coat them with virgin coconut oil, garlic, salt & lemon zest. Transfer to griddle pan placing them without overlapping.
Grill the asparagus for 2-4 minutes until lightly charred or tender on one side. then turn them over.
Remove from the pan and serve it with a wedge of Lemon.
