SALTED CARAMEL FUDGE
INGREDIENTS FOR THE BASE
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Dates Chopped
- 1 Cup Almonds
- 1.5 Tbs Coconut Oil
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
FOR THE CARAMEL
- 1 Cup Fresh Dates Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Raw Honey
- 1/3 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
CHOCOLATE TOPPING
- 1/4 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
- 3-4 Tsps Kithul Treacle or Honey
DIRECTIONS
- Line a baking tray with baking paper
- Process Dates, Almonds, Salt & Coconut Oil until smooth
- Press firmly onto baking tray - Refrigerate for 1 hour
- Make Caramel by processing ingredients in a blender till very smooth
- Spread mixture evenly over base and Freeze for 1 hour or until firm
- Make Chocolate Topping by mixing all topping ingredients in a bowl - whisk well
- Remove Caramel from Freezer and working quickly pour chocolate topping over the caramel mixture and Sprinkle with salt
- Refrigerate for another hour till set
- Remove from fridge and using a sharp knife, cut Fudge into pieces
